Hello everyone! This will be my very first build! This is what I have so far.

- MHSV1 Blade Holder Style 1

- 8-32 x 3/8" Stainless Steel thumb screw

- Hilt style 2 (Machine recessed 16mm AV switch hole)

- Pommel style 3

- MPS Insert style 11

- Rebel Star LED & MHSV1 Heatsink Module (Luxeon Rebel Star (Deep Red) / Heat Sink V3 (Long Style))

- BuckPuck 700mA 4-wire

- 7.4v Li-ion 1050mAh 14650 Battery Pack

- Push on/push off switch with black button

- Black rubber switch boot

- "Corbin style" Show blade 1" OD (40 inches / Double Wrap / Bullet Shaped)

- 16mm Anti Vandal Latching Red Ring Switch

I want to make sure everything was going to work together.
Thank you everyone in advance!

*** a couple of Answers to Questions I'm sure will be asked! ***

Do I know what I'm doing?
No, I am a quick learner though, and I looked around some of the beginers threads.

Have I built a lot of things?
Yes, Including working with lots of metal.

Have I worked with electronics/soldering?
A little bit, mostly just repairing things though, and I have never worked with LEDs.

Am I aware that 40" is a VERY long blade?
Yes, I'm a tall guy, and I'm strong, and I just think it would look super cool.

What do I want to do with this saber?
Keep it in my apartment and enjoy looking at (and swinging around) something I built.

Thanks again for any help or advice!

It looks to me like you have 2 switches...was that by design or accident?

By ignorance. I thought that the [Push on/push off switch with black button] (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Push-onpush-off-switch-with-black-button-P40.aspx) had the wires/electronics that i needed. Then I could replace the "Button" part with the significantly more attractive [16mm Anti Vandal Latching Red Ring Switch] (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16mm-Anti-Vandal-Latching-Red-Ring-Switch-P465.aspx)

Will the latter have everything I need?

Thank you very much!

Yes. Since you don't have a sound board, any of the latching switches will do the job. You won't need two.
