This saber has a few unique design features.
The body and blade holder screw on over the internals. The LEDs are held in the tube, with blade material holding the battery inside. The main LEDs shine through the choke. I thought that would diminish the brightness, but it seems just as bright. The light you see is two slow, color changing LEDs that shine through a hole in the hilt for a power on indicator. I'm using a photon green blade with a B-RB-White Cree.
