Iam just wandering as to what these could be used for other than just saber decoration?

I've seen people install those in their saber in a "window" in the hilt, and then light them up with a second led when the saber is turned on. A very cool effect.

Yeah ive seen people do that with the idea that the saber is powered by the crystal like in the films. But I got to thinking if something could be setup like what Ultra does. used the crystals instead of filters

Thats not what Ultra does.

A force crystal (for looks only) is provided and will match the LED color you choose.

For Ultra's sabers, you just stuff the crystal up the hilt.

No... No you don't... it's a small trinket to display with the hilt.

what's the point of putting the crystal inside where it can't be seen?

Jay-gon Jinn

Right...unless you've got a hole in the side of your saber to see it, there's really no reason to stuff it up the hilt.

maybe people like to stuff it up the hilt

Do I detect innuendo?
I do think it would be cool to have an exposed section of hilt where you could see the crystal. How effective would one be as a filter? Or would it scatter/block the light too much?

And let it rattle?

:o It doesn't rattle, since there are thick wires from the battery holder to the rest of the setup 8)

No offense but the rocks are rattling in your brain if not the hilt.
