Hello!
After lots of weeks of works i finally managed to prepare my hilt with inside the hasbro board, problem is...that doesn't work properly.
While outside the hilt or just inside the hasbro saber, the board works perfectly: make sounds of hit while hitting and movement sounds while roteating or moving the hilt.
When I installed everything inside my custom hilt (alluminium),the sound that i mostly listen is the hit sound, even while moving or when is just in a place with noone touching it.
I made a video (in italian, my language, coz i'm explaing the same problem in an italian forum for clues) so you can hear and maybe help me figure out the problem.
The board inside is surely well stuck and not capable of moving, so can't figure out alone what's wrong.
This is the link for the folder in dropbox with pictures of my work (using a 18650 battery with a miniboard with microusb for the recharge)

And here the link to the video I talk about:

Help me if you can, you are my only hope!

I can't view your dropbox pictures on my work computer, but it sounds like you may have a short circuit somewhere. If you have exposed wiring connections that are touching the aluminum of your hilt, that can be a cause of the behavior you describe.

Something like this: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/9-Electronics-shield-for-125-ID-tubes-P1009.aspx works well to shield your electronics from the inside of your hilt. Other choices include heatshrink, or a chassis system to hold your electronics in a safe and secure position.

I already use a plastic pipe to avoid the exposed wiring to touch the aluminium... in the dropbox there are pics about :)

You need to heat shrink the whole Mosfet as the heat sink is conductive and will short out against the board, hilt and other components it come into contact with.

thx for the advice, was already my idea to isolate it, but i also tried to swing the hilt keeping the mosfet away and isolated with some duct tape just in case....still the same issue :|

From what i can see in the pic's...i'm thinking you got something pinched or something is making contact. So i think you Cram-Fu'ed a bit to hard and something is touching. Also looks like you have it down by your hand, in order for the swing sensor to work properly it needs to be further away from where you hold the saber. Also those Hasbro boards have a tendency of glitching and activating random sounds on there own..
