So I have a Nano Biscotte v3 (or v2), base speaker, removable blade, Li Ion 18650 37V-2600mAh Rechargeable battery, recharge port.

A couple of teenagers got a hold of my saber and started trying to wrestle it out of each other's hands. I tried to turn it on as when the Nano came out of sleep mode the LEDs lit up slightly without sound. Then I turned it on and it turns on, if I turn it off the LEDs are still kinda lit up. The sound card also gets really hot too. I rewired it again as before but it still turns the LEDs on without it actually being on, and the nano runs really hot.

I don't know what to do :(, is my Nano Biscotte burned out? The battery still recharges, the LEDs light up but it won't actually turn on with sound anymore. It still has a boot up sound though.

Check that the SD card didn't get knocked loose. Pop it out and reseat it. You may need to reformat it and restore the files on it. It's possible the files got corrupted if it popped out during the wrestling match.

Check your wiring and solder joints. Be sure there aren't any loose wires or shorts.

Some heat is normal. If it's painful to touch, it's probably too hot.

Ya it gets so hot I can't touch it. It starts up, swing sound clash and all, but as soon as I turn it off again the leds stay on for some reason. 14148 my wiring schematics

I just noticed that you have a string blade. How much current is that LED string pulling? You're not exceeding the 2A limit for the NB are you?

If running at 20mA that's 2.6A
If resistored down to 15mA that 1.95A
