I've got a saber with a Graflex style emitter from TCSS and I'm currently using a red button retention screw for the blade. I would LOVE to have a "real" glass eye retention screw, as in one that allows light to shine through. I like the ones TCSS has, but they're solid and don't allow light through. To this end, I've been looking at sight glass plugs. Most of them are pretty large, but I think it might be doable. Here's one on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Nickel-Plated-Steel-External/dp/B015Y1YEVK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_6?ie=UTF8&dpID=51EKsHiZtOL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1AQHBV804ZYXE5ERNVFZ), as an example. I think it would look great, but there would have to be some modifications.
Has anyone else done something similar to this? What kind of solution did you implement?
