Hello everyone.

I have taken the first steps towards creating my first light saber, doing some research before diving in blind and ending up with failure and disappointment.

I am planning a single LED custom build, pretty basic to begin with.

Are there any saber builders here in the UK that can point me in the right direction for components? It seems that parts are quite scarce in the UK.
So far I have sourced LED's, lenses and battery holders but I am struggling with LED heat sink and blade holders.

Any way, I will continue to read the many helpful threads on this forum until I feel ready to take the first steps..

Jason.

Hey dude, welcome to the party! LEDs are a good start. Have you tried JQ Sabers? They stock MHS parts, li-ion batteries, and blades. If you're going for full sound, then you can order soundboards from Plecterlabs in France (cheaper than U.S. Shipping). I've also had some limited success in Maplins, for resistors, heat shrink sleeving and recharge ports maybe even switches, depending on your preference.
Good luck with your searches and your build. MTFBWY
