I know girot recently tried them directly on the sound board but I'm thinking of using them in line as QDs and junctions to reduce the amount of wires going directly to the board. You know, cram-fu and all. Anyone ever try this? Pros/cons? Any input is appreciated.

Edit: I should mention, the ones I have snap together pretty tightly so I'm not really concerned with loose connections.

I tried it, but the header pins I was using were too long. I think it's a good idea though. I think if I had more skill, I could've made it work.

I used Crimp connectors, like the connectors that plug into a motherboard headers for led, power, speaker, etc. to disconnect the assorted switches, leds and ports.
