I think I want to make a more detailed hilt for my LED saber than the sink tube (which has been perfect, btw). What parts and pieces do you recommend trying? I tried the bathtub knob pommel idea and it was a bit heavy and awkward although it definitely looked cool. I have a piece of a garden sprinkler that looks awesome but it is too small inside to fir electronics. Basically, i can put together a prop hilt that doesn't do anything but look cool, but i want one that works too. What suggestions do you have? also where do i find the parts?

Im checking out a local hardware store tomorrow. I'll post if I find anything worth while. Bored during winter break so I figured I'd walk the 4 blocks down. Not really too optimistic on finding anything though.

Yup, didn't work on firefox or opera. I hate sites that aren't designed to work with other browsers. I hate IE (I disabled it with a bogus proxy server).

The saber looks like a salt or pepper grinder.[:D] I don't like it because it looks like it was built from parts instead of a found object. (I favor the OT sabers if you can't tell.[;)])

i had seen this one a couple years back and i was going to make it but it just looks to me like a conglomeration of plumbing stuff rather than a lightsaber.

Hmmmm...........meh..........doesn't 'turn my crank', but everyone has their own style.
