I realize the switch selection is based entirely on design selections, but i am having a difficult time deciding on an aux switch.

I was originally going with a Pico Crumble and single switch, but am now leaning toward a Prizm wand an aux switch.

My main switch is 16mm recessed AV, for which the hole was pre-drilled.

Because the aux is an add on, I wil have to drill that hole myself with a hand drill.

I have been leaning toward the SPST momentary switch as I like the very unobtrusive design of it. I am thinking The aux switch will be mounted on the underside of the hilt and I would like it to be very minimalistic.

The rub with the SPST is that I have read both good and bad reviews.

I suppose another design option would be to out the aux switch somehow in the pommel insert?

Any thoughts/suggestions on where and how to place a minimal aux switch would be great appreciated!

There are several types of SPST mom switches. Tactile, standard, etc. To which are you referring?

I solely use mom tact switches for both power and aux. I have no issues with them. They are small and delicate but very versatile.

Im not crazy about an aux switch in the pommel. In my mind an aux switch should be easily accessible when gripping the hilt so you can activate the special effects naturally.

I was thinking this switch, but am not fully decided... Too many mixed reviews on it.

Good design point regarding the pommel location.

I have a few of them but yet to use them. I like the ones with the plastic actuator because you can create your own caps ;)

You can see them installed in my signature pic.
