I came across these hidden gems while doing some deep cleaning of Casa de Chasm

Last VHS release of the OT original versions! Totally forgot I had these. Now I have to get them digitized...because really, who still owns a VCR?

I still have those, but I don't have a VCR either.

Those are actually the only Star Wars films I've ever owned. I still don't have the DVD versions.

Respect to you NanoRex. I bought the (not so) special edition on DVD because it had the originals as bonus disc. I've also downloaded the despecialized editions lovingly restored from multiple sources in HD

I'm pretty sure I've got the VHS originals in the loft.....(attic) but no way to play them :(

Looks like Brent is offering free conversion services for anyone in need. He'll be posting his contact info in the chat box.

Seriously though, the Despecialized editions are the best originals I've seen :)

Hopefully in their greed Disney will realize they could make some $$ from putting the original versions on Blu-Ray.

I did read that on the interwebs somewhere. Hope it's true.
