Anakin built this lightsaber durring his days in the Academy. He was killed while defending family and friends agains the Yhzzan Vong. It was later recoverd and give to his older brother, Jacen.

If you like you can use O-rings in the grooves instead of paint.

well most of the original ones were. Remember a Jedi needs not fancy things.

but this ain't an original. this is a EU one which was created years and years after the OT came out

Just wipped up this ObiWan style hilt the activation box and radiator section have custom more accurate lengths and a parks box is used instead of a graflex for a more clean ep3 look.

Here is a better design for a MHS Luke hilt than what you have used in the past

You start with a custom length f/f piece, a ribbed section, a style5 blade holder, and Mr.L switch. Now take a style1 pommel and a Mr.L pommel cut the capping end off the Mr.L pommel then attach it to the style1 pommel so when you add an aluminum overlay tube to the bottom handle portion it creates that step down look. Attach Mr.L switch box then add the groove that's just behind the switch box paint as shown and you have an MHS ROTJ hilt.
