I would like to use the activation box style 1, however I'm having trouble figuring out just which actual button will fit in the box and be able to be used when the card is put on the box itself. I was hoping someone might have a way to do that the right way or a better suggestion all together.

I also would like to incorporate a crystal chamber which lights up on activation. I've looked into small LEDs and things like that but once again, I'd rather see how other builders did this before I get into wiring the handle wrong/causing my handle to overheat or what have you.
In addition to the illuminated crystal chamber, I've seen some really nice chambers people have built on the forums and would love to hear any suggestions on how to build one! Like I said, I've seen some really nice ones and I was hoping to build a crystal chamber using the Double male with slots style 2, http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Double-male-with-slots-style-2-P884.aspx?ItemId=304511 .

Again, thank you for any and all insights! I appreciate it greatly

One possibility is to use the PLI the store has which also has a momentary switch on it:

As for the crystal chamber, I think most people use 5mm LEDs to illuminate the crystal.

FJK did a little video on crystal chambers to help you learn the basics here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORH7FRFVBLg), although your best bet is to look at what other people have done and draw inspiration from there. There are plenty of awesome crystal chambers that have been made with nothing but random bits from the hardware store :)

Wonderful! Thank you very much! I was looking at using the SPST Momentary tactile switch, http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/SPST-Momentary-tactile-switch-P285.aspx?ItemId=312997
But this kinda seemed more aggravating than it was worth.

Also thank you for the LED recommendation!
