Speaker for PVC Saber Build

I'm doing research for a saber that I am designing and if my what I am seeing is true the 20mm will fit inside 1" pvc. Has anyone ever done this before? are my calculations correct?

my math says 25mm=1" so looks like you'll have 5mm to spare

I am also working on a PVC build as well. I bought the 20mm speaker recently and it fits inside 1" PVC. Without a speaker mount option though it will be loose. I'm thinking of getting some 3/4" PVC and making a speaker mount. That probably won't be for a little while though. Hope that helps.

Thank you both I will now be able to move forward with my build. The speaker was the last problem I had that needed to be solved.

If you're using a PVC end cap for a pommel, you could possibly fit a larger (28mm?) speaker in it, and snug it down with the hilt*
