Hey guys,

First time poster here.
I've been messing about with lightsabers for a while, and I've been making some shrouds from PVC for a while too.
Yesterday I got the idea to make a emitter- and hilt shroud that look like some old, weathered bone.
I'm not sure how to go about this though.
I'm thinking Apoxy Sculpt would work well, on top of the PVC itself, to make give it the shape of a carved bone/tooth.

I don't rightfully know how to go about painting it to make it look old and weathered though.
Steel etc. I know how to weather, this is a whole other story.. What colors would I have to use?
What colors would the weathered accents have to be?
How do I get the texture right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

Thanks
