Everyone here have probably seen Do-Clos UV blade. And they also probably thought it was pretty cool

Well, so did I and look what I've found on the net surfing around!

Could you fit that in a saber?
If anyone her happens to have a mini maglite, that person maybe could give some measures and other stuff that helps to find out if this is a saber possibilty...

it would probably be too big. the three C and D cell maglites have a good 2 inch end and that thing goes all the way up

Aaah... I got the size mixed up, thought it was for the mini mag.

Well, well: I did find another, and this one is really for the mini mag.
1 watt it says... It looks small, do you think you could have more than one?

I found something that I think is a possablility for a purple led.

I dont know anything about do-clos setup and I seen this just by accident.

Now with a mini maglight in front of me I took it apart and have found that the reflector disk whatchamadoohickeymabobagigey will fit inside the place where the optics sits in the led bladeholders.

So my guess is maybe have a custom optics holder or take the optics and set it on top of the reflector diskmabob thats used on the minimags.

make a custom heatsink for it to sit on and figure out how to wire the dohickeymabob for a button switch instead of the twisty thingy that the minimags have.

Is it possable?

k, that was one hard post to read with all the doo hickey's in it
that would be a super dim blade. Do Clo's setup used two to three times as many uv leds if i remember correctly. :?

What does 40 Mw turn into for lumens?

The lux 3 blue only has 30 lumens and thats pritty darn bright still. so maybe this maglight thingamagig might work.
