LED/Resistor Question

So which resistor would be best for a cree led and a 4 AAA stunt set up? Its what I'll be doing here soon. Might get me a cree green led whenever they come back in stock. Or a blue. Not too sure yet. But the regular colors other than red and ambers, which resistor would work best? Thanks =] It'll be cree possibly green led, 4 AAA standard stunt set up plus which resistor? Basically
