Ok,
Sorry for the repetitive question on resistor calculation but I've read and read and read and am still confused as, well you know.
I am starting a build with the following components,
18650 3.7V power supply
Nano Biscotte V2
Power Extender 2.0 FoC
speaker, holder and battery tray, etc.
Green,Green,White CREE XP-E2
along with everything else.
I used the calculator in the NB owners manual and keep coming up with calculations that don't make sense.
R=U/I for ohm's
R=(3.7V-3.58V)/1.5=0.08ohm's
and
P=(3.7V-3.58V)*1.5=0.18watts
Am I doing something wrong? I don't see a choice for a resistor close to these calculations. Are diven voltages always at 1.5A?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Welcome aboard. Theres a very recent post on this very subject you can take a look at. No, our leds (Crees) are all driven at 1A

Read over this post (it's a wonderful tutorial and even has an example) and check your maths:

Got it,,, clear as mud. Actually, I was putting to much thought into it, pretty simple calculations when figured at 1A. Thanks for your quick responses. I'll let you know how it goes.
