Anybody know where I can get Hasbro sound boards without the "saber" they normally come in? I need 5-10 for some custom sabers I am building for a few friends...

Sorry man, I think that you're gonna have to add a $20 surcharge and make a run to WallyWorld.

Yeah, no one sells just the boards anymore. You are going to have to grab them from somewhere. Sometimes on ebay you can get them for slightly cheaper, but for a bunch like that you may have to go out and buy the new ones.

you won't find just the sound board. check ebay for a bunch of sabers that have had the snitz beaten out of them and are cheap

Yes... but he sold the generic $8 ones and he also just rounded up the whole stock around him anyway.

Has anyone tried the Hasbro Spring Activated sabers yet? Are the sounds any good on them?

The newest Hasbro toys have the blade pop out with a button activation. I don't suspect they'll last long.

Hasbro didn't keep the blades a good length or width after the EP1 sabers... it's only a matter of time before a child pokes their eye out.

You need to keep an eye on eBay. I just won an auction for 5 Hasbro sabers (a generic Sith, generic Jedi, Obi-Wan episode III, Vader ROTJ, and color-change Anakin) the whole auction was $12 bucks plus shipping.

Aside form the color-change Anakin, I can use the soundboards from each saber to build some stuff.

Hey, do those springer sabers retract too?

only if you push them in and then they shut off. I got one for my son but he keeps looking at the tip so I took it away from him.

Is the tip bright or something? Hypnotizing, huh?

for a 2 year old? yup, especially when it's in his hands
