So a friend of mine just saw the new movie and loved it (dont worry im not going to saying any spoilers i havent seen it either lol) and he remembered i have my own saber and asked me about how to start and stuff. Well i pointed him to the website and the builder and youtube page.
And he wants to recreate Lukes saber from New Hope
I'm kinda at a loss...i know it can be done, i've seen it, but i dont know where really to start.
For right now im just wondering if anyone knows the "right parts" in the shop that makes something similar to that look of Luke's NH hilt?
Any help would be appreciated from all you masters and apprentices out there

EDIT: and after a few more question hes says he wants light and sound so if he has to lose a bit of aesthetic he doesn't really mind

Well, the easiest way would probably just be to convert a MR saber but there are "graflex" blade holders (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHSV1-Blade-Holder-Style-20-V2-P983.aspx) in the store, as well as the Graflex section of the store (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Graflex-C38.aspx) for little miscellaneous pieces. You can get the black grips right here (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Grips-C48.aspx)

The actual MHS pieces for the hilt would be pretty simple.

Off the top of my head, you'd want this blade holder:

Complementary parts would be the bunny ears, a red button thumbscrew, and some electrical pins:

http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Set-of-4-short-Graflex-style-electrical-pins--P87.aspx

Don't recall too much detail about the lower half of the hilt Luke used in ANH, but those parts above should be an accurate representation of the area near the blade holder
