DX RGB in series

Can a DX RGB be wired in series with the common positive?

I'm guessing either nobody knows or nobody cares since it is what it is. Nevermind, I ordered a Tri-Cree anyway. Decided why spend $100+ to upgrade and old saber from an econo board to an NB2 and still use a $2 LED.

That would probably be best anyway...I have some of those old DX RGB's and I don't think they can be wired in series due to the PCB they are soldered to having a common positive.
