After seeing it on other sabers and reading the manual I see you can use the accent LED smd foot prints for smd LEDs for bar graph/plc

My question is dose the board use a regulator for them or do you put the resistors on the cathode side ?

And would you just link them together and use one resistor ?

And are the 0603 the best ones to use ?

Thx

Surface mounted LEDs on the board? Mostly the idea is to use the pads to control a separate PLI, or bargraph. If you are thinking of LEDs directly on the CF, you would need to resistor EACH ONE (if it requires it), and then connect the cathode side to a ground. The 0603's are the largest ones that fit, though they are NOT EASY to solder.

Yes I was thinking right on the board

And by (if it requires it) meaning the LED design Vf, If rating

Correct. I will warn you now that the onboard LEDS are very difficult to do.

I believe you. I'm gonna try and make just a bar graph for now and see how that goes be for I even attempt to put them right on the board.
But I would still need to put the smd resistors or bridge them......going that way
