My sabre uses a old Seoul P4 in brilliant blue. I normally use a nanobiscuit to drive it but it's failed. Rather than worry about it and because I need it back in use quickly I thought I'd ditch the sound and just use a resistor on a 6v AAA rig until I sort out the soundcard. Because the p4 is no longer sold I'm struggling to find the specs but I think it's a 6V source voltage with a 3.25V diode forward voltage. I think the correct current for this is 1000ma so I'm guessing I need a 3.3ohm 3.3 watt resistor. Is this correct?
Thanks
