I have a question regarding wiring for FoC.
For your FoC, Madcow mentions having to wire an SMD resistor onto the PEx,
but since I'm using a 3.7v Li-ion batt, he says theres no need for a resistor on
PEx for the FoC die. I bought a resistor anyways to wire on the positive lead to
the FoC die.
Would that be the correct wiring?
So positive FoC die -> resistor -> positive pad on PEx

It's generally recommended to put a resistor on your FoC even if you don't need one--better safe than sorry.

Correct. However, you'll need to bridge the two pads where the SMD would have gone. You can try to drag a solder bead between or use a small piece of wire. I recommend solid wire, not stranded. You could even use a piece of a resistor lead.

You could even use a piece of a resistor lead.

That's almost always what I use. If you have scraps, why not use them, right?

You can just solder both leads to one side of the pex
