Tri-cree wiring help

Hi so I'm trying to figure out how to wire a tri-cree with resistors for each die.
I'm planning on using FoC, NB, 3.7V 18650 Li-ion batt, and b/b/w led.
I was looking at Madcow's tut on wiring in parallel and only using 1 resistor, but
people have recommended using a resistor for each die so I'm wondering how thats done?

Simply put, you place a resistor on each of the (+) wires leading to the LED.

Sorry, but another wiring question and an even more crudely drawn circuit of everything said and done with an NB, FoC etc.
