Colored polyc tube (Transparent Smoke)

I have one of these lying around that I ordered years ago and never used but now I am wanting to use it in a new saber. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on what type of LED that would light this dark blade up enough to look decent. Thanks!

I have one and haven't been very impressed with it in Jedi colours...but a red or red-orange LED gives a unique very Dark Side look to a Dark Jedi saber build.
