Hello all,
Preparing for my first build and I am a bit confused with some of the info I've found regarding led forward voltage. I'm planning on using the tri cree, r/r/w/ with white isolated for foc, and the site states the led forward voltage as 2.59v@1000mA. However, as I've been lurking and reading for some time now, the consensus seems to be that reds should be run closer to 2v@750mA... So, my confusion is, can I use the 2.59v for my resistance calculations even though I'm intending to run it at the recommended 750mA...or is there a calculation to find the forward voltage at my desired mA that I'm missing. Thanks to all in advance and sorry if this has been covered previously...I have been looking, lol.
