Hello all! First time builder, long time thinking about it. I've decided today to take the plunge and try my hand at building my first saber. Spent a better part of the day researching in hopes of not angering the veteran saber smiths with stupid questions, so please know that I've tried my best! I was hoping to get a parts check from someone who knows what they are doing so I don't waste my money or blow off my hand or something. Here's what I have so far.

royal blue Rebel Star LED and heatsink module
1ohm 2w resistor for LED
Li-Ion 18650 3.7V 2600mAh PCB Protected Rechargeable Battery Module
Switchcraft 2.1mm Power Jack
MHS speaker mount V6 - For 28mm Speakers
2W 28mm Bass Speaker
NB V2 MWS Header and Wiring Harness
NB V2
16mm Anti Vandal Momentary Blue Dot Switch
20mA DynaOhm? Variable Resistor for switch LED
Activation box style 2 for switch and recharge port

still looking into a chassis solution. any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'll attach a picture of my hilt design so far. As it sits right now it's just shy of 11.5 inches. Thanks everyone!

You won't be able to use the MWS Nano Biscotte wiring harness with the V6 speaker mount unless you wire it like Madcow does (there's a video in the Information and Tutorial Videos section of the forums). The good news is the V6 speaker mount is a chassis, so you won't have to design one.

You don't use that battery with the V6 speaker mount. Use this one (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/TrustFire-Protected-37V-2400mAh-18650-Lithium-Battery-2-pack-P517.aspx) instead. You'll also need this holder (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/18650-Single-Cell-Holder-P886.aspx). It fits inside the speaker mount (with a little modification).

I think the videos you want are Building a Basic Saber with Sound parts 1 and 2. He uses a Nano Biscotte with a V6 speaker mount.
