Hi, I am probally the youngest person here (13) and after lots of unsuccesful attempts, I am building my 8th hilt (I think). I will put pictures up of the completed saber, please tell me your thoughts of the completed saber once it's put up.

Ok, which are you building? Your 8th hilt, or your 15th, like the thread title says?

And what was unsuccessful about previous attempts?

Tony

Oh, the thread title was a typo, and most of the last attempts were unsuccesful because of their bad look, I had few good ones, which I then screwed up...

I thought I was on my 15th then I realised it was my 8th. And you want me to put pictures of my progress? Wouldn't it be better with the completed item, so then you could rate it!

For ideas of what to build check out the gallery. If you need more ideas then look around the internet. there are plenty of places where people have built some and posted pictures. personally i suggest looking in the gallery her first.

No spamming in your thread?

Wow, now everyone here thinks they own their own threads now too.

How sad. but hey, welcome to TCSS Tony.

Ok, it's a start, but you have a ways to go. So far, it just looks like a piece of pipe with a bike grip on it.

Time to get imaginative and creative.

Ok so here is an idea. Most if not close to all of the really nice sabers out there started out as an actual drawing. Try doing that first. Get you some graph paper or use paint or some other program on your computer to draw up what you want it to look like. then from that look at it and figure out what parts you are going to need to make it become reality. from there go get said parts and put it together.

If you are wanting to do hardware sabers then go check out the big yellow box website and try a few of theirs first. That will give you an idea of what type stuff you can use and how to put some of them together. From there take your drawing idea that you did from the first step and make it reality. I personally think that you are going about it the hardest way possible by getting the parts and try and put them on with out a basic idea up front. Everything has to start with a good firm idea if it is to succeed.

The 2nd stage, just a few more things until completion!
