Hi, everybody. After a lot of reading and planning, I'm ready to post my "first build" thread. I'm looking at a fairly simple build as the foundation, but I'm also looking at other threads to maybe get a little more elaborate on the hilt exterior. The internals a bit ambitious for a first build, but I think I have the wiring down right now. I'll go further on that once I settle out the parts list.

Here's what I have so far. If you have any suggestions for improvement, I'm totally open. I have a couple of things I haven't quite settled on yet. I want to take my time and get this right.

Outer Hilt (10.5 inches)
MPS Pommel style 10
Hilt style 2 (glue o-rings into the ridges and shave them down if/where switches/screws interfere)
LED blade holder style 18
Accent LEDs?
Pommel insert and clip
Retention screws (1, 2, 3?... how many do I need if I choose to spar?) (where can I put them on holder 18?)

Inner Hilt
Chassis Discs and rods TBD after settling on battery and chipset

Switch
16mm Anti Vandal Latching Blue Ring (LRNB) (Vfwd=3.3V, I=20mA) (7.4-3.3/0.020=205 ohm 1/4 W resistor)
Rice port (RP1)
Recharge port (MWSRP)
AV Box 12 (BOX12) or AV Box 14 (BOX14)
Extra switch? (AV momentary blue dot or non-lighted silver)
Kill key

Covertec
Covertec knob (Bmbutton)
8-32 socket head screw (8-32Cov)
Covertec clip

Electronics
7.4V Li-ion 2600mAh 18650 Battery Pack (7418650)
Premium 28mm Speaker (Pspeaker)
Resistors TBD
Crystal Focus Saber Core 7.5
Color Extender? (to dial in custom color)
Wire and heatshrink

LED and Blade
Want to color mix to get a bright blade in teal color ("Sunrider's Destiny")
Star thermal tape (STTAPE)
Tri-Cree R/G/RB (CTCLED)
Focusing lenses?
How to even the color out along the blade?
Heat sink?
Blade type?
Blade plug

Misc
USB to 3.5mm RICE cable
Blade retention screw
Synthetic Grease
3.7V-14.8V Li-ion Smart Charger (Li-IonCharger)

I'm looking forward to this as money and time permit. Thanks for all the info across this board as it has been very helpful.
