What are the benefits or running a 7.4V pack versus a high mAh, single 3.7V battery? I would assume that since the operating voltages of LED's wont top over 3.7 volts, that a single battery would be preferred over two batteries wired in series, as the ectra voltage is wasted. I know I am missing something...

Welcome to the Forums.

The "something" is the fact that the PC and CF's audio amp works better at full power (5A). Also a 7.4V pack allows you to run 2 dice in series. ;)
