Holy crap... Tim, I could give you a hug right now.

I nearly had a conniption when I saw that new heatsink. And I was about to talk to you about that. I don't need to try getting others to make me some either. *happy dance*

now maybe I missed something in the pics but does it essentally mount the same way as the other heatsink? becouse how do the wires get to the bottom or between heatsink and tube wall?

It's meant for customs. No, it's no where near large enough to fit in the place of the MHS.

I can personally say for me this will help me get so many ideas out. If you want to go cheap too this will fit in PVC well and have the smaller diameter.

Of course. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it. Tim knows what makes us tick.

I have not been here for a while but uh someone with more knowledge than me will have to explain, what exactly is the purpose of the new heatsink, and is it for both the 3-watt and 5-watt leds?

Any idea on the ETA of these? Or the 1 1/4 sink tube blade holder? Not even anything specific, just ballpark it? I'd like to get all I need in one order...

???

The heatsinks are in the store now. The 1.25" blade holders will be a little while yet.

If it is not to fit the MHS and the 1-1/4 blade holders aren't coming for a while, http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n237/huskerbrewdad/Smilies/waiting.gif (waiting patiently), how would one go about mounting one of these heatsinks in say a sinktube? I'm totally cool with going hardware for now then upgrading once the new blade holders come out...
