i just read the FAQ and it said that in fact, xwing can't ban users, only admins(tim) can

Yeah, I can't "ban" anyone in the sense that they can't ever come back. Tim would have to do that by IP addresses and such.

I can effectivly ban you by messing with your profile info though. That's what I've been doing in the case of the spammers. I've took note of their IP address (no pattern yet) and put their accounts on inactive.
