Hey all,

So I'm trying to figure out how to add the 3 new saber fonts I purchased today onto my Prizm 3.5 SD card. I want to keep the light, grey and dark meat sound banks along with my new ones. The Prizm Manual says that I can have up to 6 banks and the the SD card should include folders for Banks 1-6 but it only has three and when I go to add new folders it doesn't give me that option. Madcow's tutorial videos are only for changing one sound bank for another, not adding new ones. I checked out Plecter Labs, SoundFont and here with no luck Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

You don't have the option of adding new folders? You're not trying to add them directly onto the SD card are you?

No. I'm trying to add the new banks to the SD card. it's saying that the Card is Write-Protected and cannot be changed

Make sure the write-protect on the SD card is unlocked ;)

Remember that you need to format the card before you add/change any sound fonts. Be sure you back up the originals first.

I did format the card. The problem I'm having is that the sd card is only set up for 3 sound fonts but according to the manual it can hold six. When I back up the SD and format the SD card it still only has the 3 original fonts on it. In Madcows tutorial he copy and pastes a new sound font over an old one so the .configuration file is present. I can't do that if there is only 3 sound banks to begin with and need to add 3 more. That'd where I'm getting stuck.

Make a copy of banks 1-3 and rename them bank4, 5, and 6, respectively. Then in those folders, replace the fonts with the ones you want to add to your saber. Save this folder with all 6 banks on to your desktop, then format your card, and drag the new card contents to the SD card. You're done.

What Ty said. Also, be advised that the folder and file naming is case sensitive. If you don't do it properly, the board won't find the files.

It didn't work. Here is a shot of how I set up the banks. 11613 Banks 1-3 Are the Default Light, Grey, and Dark Meat Bank4-6 will be my new sound fonts. I copied banks 1-3 and then changed the names of them to bank4-6. Then I copied and pasted each new bank into their new folders keeping the config file. I then formatted the SD card to erase it. I dragged the new configuration into the SD card. At this point it should cycle up on my saber when I go through the banks but it only does the original three. When I added the new config to the SD card it went from 3.68 GB to only 3.66GB. I have followed everyones advice, watched Madcows video on Saberfont.com, and read the manual over and over. what am I doing wrong

Open the revisions file, and make sure it says Prizm 3.5 in it.

I sent a note to erv at Plecter labs and though he's on vacation right now he asked me to recontact him in mid august. He going to check the firmware on the boards.

Yeah, I think that might be your problem - that's why I asked about the contents of the revision files.
