Hi all,

Really appreciate some feedback if this will be workable, I have already started a thread for this build but didn't realise this parts list section existed and when I was reviewing realised I had made a bunch more mistakes e.g expecting the NB2 chassis discs could accommodate a prewired NB2 board with harness so if one or more of you fine people could give me the thumbs up or down that would be great.

Sound system setup:
1 x NB2 board http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Nano-Biscotte-Sound-Module-V2-P806.aspx
1 x JST Female connector 24AWG Red/Black http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Female-connector-24AWG-RedBlack-P964.aspx
1 x MWS Recharge Port http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MWS-Recharge-Port-P877.aspx
1 x JST Male connector 24AWG Red/Black http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Male-connector-24AWG-RedBlack-P963.aspx
1 x Kill plug style 2 http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Kill-plug-style-2-P570.aspx (already ordered)
1 X Panasonic Battery (sourced elsewhere due to being in Australia)

Does this wiring idea look correct?

High powered LED:
1 X JST Female connector 24AWG Blue/White http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Female-connector-24AWG-BlueWhite-P958.aspx
1 X 1ohm 2w resistor http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/1ohm-2w-resistor-P21.aspx
1 X Rebel Star LED & MHSV1 Heatsink Module http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Rebel-Star-LED-MHSV1-Heatsink-Module-P653.aspx (Lime Green already ordered)

Have I understood the wiring requirement?

Switch setup (with lit activation switch when kill key is removed):
1 X MWS Short Momentary 16mm AV Switch - Nickel http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MWS-Short-Momentary-16mm-AV-Switch-Nickel-P878.aspx
2 X JST Female connector 24AWG Red/Black http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Female-connector-24AWG-RedBlack-P964.aspx

Thanks GJ updating wiring!

Detachable speaker setup:

1 X JST Male connector 26AWG Green http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Male-connector-26AWG-Green-P952.aspx
1 X JST Female connector 26AWG Green http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Female-connector-26AWG-Green-P956.aspx
1 X Premium 28mm Speaker http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Premium-28mm-Speaker-P77.aspx (already ordered)

Chassis setup, particularly interested if I can use a "Acrylic Chassis Disc 2 hole to 3 hole adapter" as the end piece of my chassis to but up against the activation switch in the hilt?
2 x Stainless 4-40 all thread http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Stainless-4-40-all-thread-P770.aspx
1 x Acrylic Chassis Disc for NB and 18500/18650 pack - S3 http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Acrylic-Chassis-Disc-for-NB-and-1850018650-pack-S3-P813.aspx
Assorted OD spacers (ordered 4 x each of: 2" Aluminum 3/16" OD spacer, 1.5" Aluminum 3/16" OD spacer, 1" Aluminum 3/16" OD spacer, 3/4" Aluminum 3/16" OD spacer & 1/2" Aluminum 3/16" OD spacer (Clear))
1 x Acrylic Chassis Disc 2 hole to 3 hole adapter - S9 http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Acrylic-Chassis-Disc-2-hole-to-3-hole-adapter-S9-P773.aspx
1 x MHS speaker mount V4 - For 28mm Speakers http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-speaker-mount-V4-For-28mm-Speakers-P661.aspx

After reading other answers to my questions about how to pass wires past chassis pieces I hope it's possible to make cut outs in the NB2 chassis discs to allow speaker wires and recharge port wires past?

The wiring looks good except for your switch. The red wire to your switch is connected to the FoC pad for the PeX. Move it the the pad on the right. Also, you might want the V5 speaker mount to lock your chassis in place.

Thanks GJ for the heads up on the activation switch.

With speaker mount V5 does the lip part sit outside the hilt and into the pommel?

Will this still be workable with having the recharge port in the pommel?

Ordered:
Style 6 Insert http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MPS-Insert-style-6-P263.aspx
Pommel style 7 http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MPS-Pommel-style-7-P386.aspx

The V5 holder is meant to lock in between the 2 pieces. It is still workable to have the recharge port in the pommel, you'll just have some additional "work" to do. ;)

Makes sense especially when I look over the other photos people have been kind enough to share which leads me to another point, I may have fundamentally misunderstood how the chassis parts fit, do the following parts fit snugly inside a MHSv1 hilt or would they slide in with space free around them designed to be held in place with a large diameter metal chassis disks?

Speaker Holder 4 http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-speaker-mount-V4-For-28mm-Speakers-P661.aspx

Those all would fit snugly. However, you would need to secure it somehow, like with the metal chassis disk you mentioned OR the speaker holder V5.

Hellz yeah! So psyched for ya bruva! Haha do make or buy some helping hands to keep your blood pressure stable ;) I had the tutorial vids playing on my tablet on the bench too. Helped a lot technique wise and sets a great standard of care/quality.
Anyone feel like having a squizz at my next list for 2 builds? I have wire and also NB are due at the css this week!
Let's do this!11610
