On the wiring harness for the NBv2, I see at least 1 extra wire, the blue white. Am I correct in assuming these are connected in a way to connect to the LED? I'm trying to figure out where to put the Buckpuck from the information in the manual (yes, at least 1 person reads the manual) and there aren't any references to it in there.

Also, as a side note, does anyone know if this offers FoC or is it just a static blade? http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Rebel-Star-LED-MHSV1-Heatsink-Module-P653.aspx

You don't use a buckpuck with the nano biscotte. I think the voltage requirements are different.
That led is just a single rebel led, not a tri-rebel. No flash on clash die.

Yeah, the voltage requirements for the buckpuck exceed the maximum for the NBv2. If you want flash on clash, you'll need to order a triple led, as Generic Jedi mentioned, either a Triple Cree: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Cree-Tri-XP-E2-C138.aspx or the triple Rebel: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Luxeon-Tri-Rebel-Star-P777.aspx

Oh... Ok, so what resistor do I use with it if I use the nano? I'm debating between it or the obsidian on another site

The resistor you need will depend on what LED you want to use with the Nano

After you have that information, it is a simple task to find the resistor

The one I have listed above, I'm trying to avoid as much soldering as possible so I have to go with the prebuilt led

You'll have to be specific about what color LED you want in order to find the appropriate resistor; the link you put up doesn't show us what options you've picked.

Oh, my bad haha, heck that's why I was asking about the buck puck! I'm wanting red orange

The LED info is posted under the Luxeon Rebel Star item (it's not shown with the pre-wired option):

Red/Orange 134lm @ 700mA 2.3v - Run at 700mA; http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Luxeon-Rebel-Star-P523.aspx

So if you're using the Nano, you'll just need to plug in those values with your battery option (p.11/12 of the manual) and you'll be good to go ;)

Ok so double checking my math here, (3.7-2.3)/0.7=1.8 meaning I need a 2ohm resistor. Does that sound right?

Using the LED resistor calculator I use, I got a 2.2 ohm, 2W resistor for that setup

Generic Jedi

R = (3.7-2.3) / 0.7 = 2 Ohm
P = (3.7-2.3) x 0.7 = 0.98 Watt
So a 2 Ohm, 1 Watt resistor should be fine.

R = (3.7-2.3) / 0.7 = 2 Ohm
P = (3.7-2.3) x 0.7 = 0.98 Watt
So a 2 Ohm, 1 Watt resistor should be fine.

I got the same. And looks like those are readily available in the shop.

Ok, new problem. How do you splice in the resistor when using the mad prebuilt parts?

Cut the JST of off the LED, but leave enough wire to solder it to one leg of the resistor. Solder the othe leg of the resistor to the wire left on the LED. You'll have to cut both wires on the JST and splice in a wire on the un-resistored side to keep it even.

Ok, now I just need to find the 1.2 ohm and watt resistor for the cree less since they're in stock
