Ok I looked at MR's site and I dident see obi wans EP 1 and 2 lightsabers.

IIRC EP2 he had the one that was like'ish of ginns with the pommel that was rounded with the silver bits going around it,, correct?

What was his EP lightsaber? were there any pics of it ever made?

It seems you left out a key part in your question.

Anyway... he had three. The EP 1 saber, the EP 2 version that is almost exactly the same, and the last one is the EP 3 one theoretically the same as his EP 4 one.

if ya want a pic of obi's epi 2 saber then ebay it. MR did an EE and a mini on it. the EP1 saber as far as i can tell was exactly the same(possibly another case of the prop department being lazy :D ).

Yup, he lost it in EP 1. He remade it and it's virtually identical. I can't even remember the differences... it's not even as obvious as circuit board vs. bubbles like the others.

I would love to make a saber of ben, lukes and vaders but combine all of bens looks and such, and lukes and vaders.

Like say I take lukes for instance, I would use the anh style saber clamp forward, on a hile with rotj switch box back.

May look funnie but I think it may look good.

As for ani/vaders, I dont know theres so many versions of vader I wouldent know where to begin.

and obi something like the first part of the hilt would be the classic design of the "grenade" forward and the rest of the hilt with previous sabers.

Its a project thats gonna take many many moons and I got several ideas typted up that I want to do its unreal.

I think that parks sabers has the best looking and best detailed Old Ben hilt on the market ufortunately it's the first one he built of the Old Ben models the one with the gold wind vane but I'm sure you can just tell them to anodize that the same color as the rifle grenade grip they also have that saber with their special led control panel.

Parks doesn't have the most accurate... in fact Parks is regarded as the least accurate of full sabers you can buy. Yes, it looks like Old Ben's but that's if you don't get comparing it to what it should be. Roman's or the MR is better. The best though is parted and you can't buy completely.

He doesn't do custom work either... not through his site at least. You'd have to meet and talk to him. Not sure why you'd want it black either... it's supposed to be brass colored.

I have an ANH AFBB Parks did (before he was sued and won't get that close to the design) and it's black but I painted it the correct brass and copper.

His first saber was lost circumstances unknown his second saber inspired by his mentor quinnlin vos was lost in the shaft when he fought darthmaul in which case he took qui gon jin's (which was later given to aniken for his training after he completed his training it was given back to obi he kept it at his home on Tatooine later recovered by Luke and kept at a place of honor in his home along with his fathers heliand lightsaber) untill he could make his 3rd which is the one parks sabers makes at the end of episode3 he modyfied his saber for the last time changing it to black and silver and replaced the circuit board with calculator bubles he never did any maintenance on it for the next 20 years waiting for Luke to be old enough that is why his saber was so ratty by the time Luke was of age after his death Vader took it to his fortress on the moon Vijun featured in the game Jedi Academy Aniken Solo (lukes nephew/Han Solo's son I think) recoverd Old Bens lightsaber refurbished it but he was killed defending his family and friends against the evil Yhzzan Vong the saber was recovered and given to his older brother jacen so as you can see Old Bens lightsabers have been around the block and back. you can see the various lightsabers and pictures on www.thelightsaber.com histories section look at Aniken Solo, Obi Wan, Qui Gon Jin, and Quinlin Vos

No offense, but a lot of Luuke's stuff is made up and not the truth or at least made up to fit a story.

You are wrong on so many things it's ridiculous. Example the pic of his final saber is black because A) the pic is the Icons version which was made before they knew what the prop makers had actually made it of AND B) The second photo of it is the MR... which is based on the Icons and the black and white photos of it. It has and always be brass and copper (it just got a bad patina from use).

First, old bens lightsaber was taken by vader when he killed him, I found some pics and thers some slight differances in bens first and second saber, His apprentis saber looks nothing like anything really, and his second saber the onlything that resembles quinlin vox is the emitter the rest resembles ginns and the pommel is just kinda out there.

Now IIRC bens first saber the apprentis one was the one lost in the shaft, his second was taken when he was taken in EP 2 then in EP3 is when he started his old ben style saber.

My guess is he was appointed to the counsel as a master as he was entered in the films so you only really see the 2 versions.

BTW parks sabers suck, there el blades look like crap, there "switchboxes" are gargantually huge and gawdy, take forever to get anything from them, and the only thing they ever came out with that was any good was there "magnets" and anyone could of came up with that.

Parks sabers are the lame, I would pay more for a LT saber. atleast theres look good and the elblades dont look like crap when turned off.

If you only believe the movies then you'd probably leave some of the stuff. Like in the books (yes, EU) Anakin Solo does get Obi's saber. He found it in a lair of Vader's.

I was more pointing out that Luuke's stuff is not always true. Same as wiki stuff. Anyone can make it up. The truth I see is what they're actually made of and the reality that sometimes it's just a prop monkey trying to get it to look close enough.

dude palpetine carried a backup saber that was gold and white the one you saw that was like black chrome color was his main saber and if you read carefully ryma you will see the part where I said Ben's saber was recovered from Vader's stronghold on Vijun by aniken solo.
