Hi all,

I took apart my 2006ish Anakin Force Action Lightsaber. I have a momentary switch attached, but it isn't powering up. Any help would be appreciated. I also used the battery pack that was attached to the lightsaber, as well as the speaker. PS This is my first time posting an image so I hope it posts.

Ok, it looks like you don't have the positive wire connected to the battery pack. If I remember correctly, the force action sabers had the battery pack cover on the bottom of the hilt. Make sure you have the cover taped onto the pack, and that both of the battery wires are connected.

Based on this picture, you don't have the battery properly connected. I only see one wire (black). You likely need to connect the loose red wire properly.

So I need to connect the red wire in the picture? Do you know to where?

Well, it looks as if you don't have the complete battery holder. You need to make sure that it has the cap on it. (should be a triangular piece of black plastic with metal tabs on the bottom and one metal plate on the side)
You can tape the cap on with electrical tape. Then, you need to connect the red wire to the metal plate on the side of the cap.

here is the triangle, can you try to explain how to connect the red wire?

The black wire connects to the end of one of the batteries, the red will have to connect to the other battery.

there are three batteries does it matter to which one I connect? Also, do you know how to connect it with the metal piece on the end?

You need to connect the red wire to that little rectangle metal plate on the side of the triangle piece. I would solder it on, but you could use tape if you don't have solder.

The black wire should already be connected...is it not?
