Still fine tuning, but here is Integrity--my latest saber.11273

The slots in the hilt pulse blue on idle. For the accent 1-3, I used a common negative tricolor LED, so the color changes with the animation.

The progressive power up pad leads to a modified Tri Cree in the hilt so the slots light up and take on the blade behaviors.11274

The slots shine too bright so I need to put a meatier resistor on there. Plus, I'm not sure I like the idle pulse. I wish it would pulse a few times then stop.

I am trying to charge, but I think I have a bad recharge switch. I don't know how to tell if it is charging or not, but when I move the saber, it turns on. The charging out seems loose in the recharge port. Dang.

Here's a shot of the chassis.

I used aluminum tube lined with blade material. The battery is actually between the PC and switches. I also honed out channels in the chassis lining to make space for wiring. I'm always concerned about shorting out a rogue wire on the PC, so I cover it with T8 tube before screwing on the hilt bottom.
