Welcome to the forum
The nano biscotte v2 will be a good choice for your first saber
I would suggest checking out Madcow's invaluable YT tutorial on building a basic saber, he will show you all the parts you need
Good luck Saberfreak

A collection of YouTube videos, useful for saber building: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/forumdisplay.php?51-Informational-and-Tutorial-Videos

Also, there's no need to make the same post multiple times. We'll see it, don't worry.

That would be what we refer to as an "econo board" and it'll work just fine. See this post for instructions on using it in a custom saber: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?10288-2010-Electronic-Lightsaber-w-DVD-Tutorial

Meanwhile, while I am waiting when the most pieces are back in stock that I want, I have made this belt hanger.
