As the title states, this saber is a gift for my wife. I simply call it Amore since it is for my love, but she can give it another name if she wishes.

This build was tough for me since it is the smallest hilt I have made. I usually leave some extra space inside but this was made for her small hands so I had to cram a lot in a small space.

Blade color: I made a lighter, rosy purple color. It is soft and beautiful color. It is made with a Tri-Rebel RGB

Sound card is Nano Biscotte, it gets the job done.

I did something a little different with the grip and painted it an off white. It looks very white in the pics but in real life, it is more of a cream/ ivory color. I wanted to do something different than the usual silver and black combo. This goes nice with her Jedi outfit and her overall personality and style. I added a few gold colored items for accents (gold switch, gold kill key, and brass d-ring).

All and all, she is very happy with this saber and will be sporting it next weekend at a convention we are attending.

She is happy, so I am happy.

Enjoy the pics.

PS- I didn't even notice until I was half way finished with the build that it looks strikingly like the key chains Tim sells. A funny little accident.

Very nicely done. The ribbed section looks.. odd. Not in a bad way; in some of the pictures, the white makes it look like the whole thing is flatter and receded into itself a bit, you know? I like that.

Also that blade colour is gorgeous. I'll definitely have to use that in the future. It looks better than my pinks for sure.

Thanks all.

I will admit, the white did not photograph well. I need better lighting over my work bench. In person, the white has a much richer look. I think with age and handling, this will eventually have a nice antique look to it.

Nicely done! Definitely have to agree that the white ribbed section gives it a very unique look.

Very nice! Another +1 to that white ribbed section! I feel like white is an under-appreciated accent when it comes to saber building.

I will second that. White plastic is cetainly prevalent in the SW universe.

Nice saber - clean and simple. Echo the under-appreciated color. I've only used white once, on a shroud a long time ago, and I understand the photo-vs-real life comment on the color... there's a richness that does not translate through the camera lens.

I like that one. The grip actually kinda looks like bone
