Hey,

I do have this LED, I think it's from saberforge, but honestly don't remember. ;)

11125

What is it and how to I wire it?
It's purple, 2x red, 2x blue, and I want to use it without a resistor on my MR Mace Windu Conversion.

Can someone maybe draw in the picture which pads to bridge, and where my positive and negative is?

It's an X-2 LED star. See here: http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=40162.0

X stands for the power rating of 10W, and the 2/4 stands for the number of addressable dies. The X-2's four dies are configured as two sets of two addressable dies, and the X-4 dies are all individually addressable.

Important Note: The X-4 and X-2 LEDs have a common positive.

You'll be wiring the dice up in parallel, there's no bridging involved.

So I can use any positive and any negative and be done? Awesome! Thanks!

Well, yes and no....that led has two positives, so it has common positives between all four dies on the led. You can use either of those, but each negative is for it's respective color die.

So I solder a wire to any of the positive pads and bridge the negatives?

Edit:
Worked, thanks! :!: :D
