Battery charging question

For a 3.7v 18650 how long should it take before it is fully charged , just so I know when I should unplug the battery and prevent it from being damaged

All I can say is that it depends on the battery's capacity. A 2600 mAh will take less time to charge than a 3400 mAh battery.

The smart chargers in the store will stop charging the battery when it is full. Depending on the particular charger you have and the mAh of your battery, it can take a few hours to fully charge.

Don't leave li-ions unattended while they're charging, and be sure they're sitting on something fireproof. While they're safer than li-po, there is still a small possibility of fire during the charging process.
