That would work. You would need a resistor for the accent LED you have in your list.

Planned on it. Just wanted to be sure on the rest. I'm great with asthetics but not that good with wiring. I'm hoping I can pull this off without screwing everything up just by touching the stuff. :p And thank you!!!

You will need a good soldering iron, and you'll need to know how to use it.

My fiance is determined for me to add sound to my build. What would be the best to go with as far as simplicity goes and still being able to set up the MWS?

The Nano Biscotte is the introductory board for sabersmiths. It's the simplest to get hooked up and running. You will be limited to using a single li-ion cell pack with it.

As an FYI, a BuckPuck is never used with a sound build, so you won't need that anymore.

Ok thanks for the info. :) I also noticed that the NB has to use MOM switches. I should probably go ahead and change that too. :p

Yes, you should. I would read through the manual a couple of times, to make sure you are comfortable with everything in it. ;)

Fortuantely the parts I don't understand (A LOT ;) ), my fiance's brother (electrical engineer) should be able to explain for me too. The only thing I'm not seeing on the NB is a place for accent LEDs, will it support the three accent LEDs with some addition soldering?

After some reading...ignore that question. LOL SO the accent LEDs need to be wired seperately from the NB. O_O I'm gonna have my hands full.

The Petit Crouton is a more advanced board, and allows you to hook up multiple accent LEDs and control them in several different ways.

It's more expensive and takes a little more work to get it all set up, but it's also a very good board.

That being said, you can certainly use accent LEDs with the NB. There are multiple methods detailed in the manual. Some are easier than others. Yes, your hands will be full. :) Please be sure to draw up a wiring diagram for us to look over before you get started.

I hope this is right? I have never done this before and I was just going by what I could see.

That image is a little hard to read with the gray background.

What you have drawn out will function, though probably not as you'd expect. The Red and Green accent LEDs will be on all the time, and the Blue Ring on the switch LED doesn't appear to be hooked up.

You could wire your accent LEDs in parallel with the main blade LED, and they'll turn on and off with the main blade.

You're on the right track though.

Thanks for all the input and patience. I think I have it good now and sorry about the background. I feel like the appearance suggests I would be horrible at cable management which is not the case. :p

Another good effort, but still not quite right.

Move the accent LED (-) wires to the main LED (-), and move the accent LED (+) wires to the main LED (+) and you'll be set. The rest of it appears to be correct.
