View Full Version : Problems logging in

Lately when I go to log in, it doesn't seem to register the first time I try. It just takes me back to the same page. When I try a second time it works every time, but then shows me as logging in 2 minutes ago and then I can't use the "posts since last visit" function. Has this happened to anyone else, or am I just cursed?

Make sure the link you are using takes you to www.thecustomsabershop.com/forum/index.php and not to the old temporary site.

I found that if you "log in to check unread messages" or whatever instead of just logging in, then click on the forum link it works every time for me.

If you are still having problems do the following.

step 1. log out
step 2. clear your browser cookie
step 3. clear your browser cache/temporary internet files
step 4. close your browser
step 5. go back and test

Tried as you suggested..

Get the same thing..

-required to login
-viewing latest topics renders 'none'

The login requirement does not bother me at all. But the search function telling me that there are no new posts since my last visit is wrong for sure.

Where is the server located (geographically)? In Europe perhaps?

My last post said it was:

I've cleared my browser cache, cookies, etc., but nothing works. It basically decides if it wants me logged in or not.

Sorry for the double-post, but I found this interesting.

When I'm not logged in and I hit the "reply" button, I get logged in and thrown back to the main page. All the "new posts" are visible then, unlike when I try to log in with the "log in" link.
