I am getting my shipment of parts to upgrade to sound tomorrow and just want to make sure when I install everything I won't ruin my NB and everything will work. I currently have:

Rebel Star in green
Momentary switch w/ green dot light and dynaohm resistor
4 AA battery holder with NiMH batteries
Nano Biscotte V2
28mm premium speaker

I wanted to make sure that I don't need any resistors for the LED or the soundboard itself and that the battery pack is going to be the right amount of power.

since you are planning to use a 4.8 volt set up, you will probably need a resistor on the main led. The board itself will not require a resistor, although it is designed to work best with Li-ion batteries.

okay thank you! When I calculate my resistor value do I just use the values as if it were still just a stunt saber? That is as if it was just going from the battery to the LED without anything else or do I need to factor in that it is running through the board?

Yes, with the NB you will continue to use the battery pack's voltage to calculate resistor values.
