I've been doing my research but I'm confused about one thing. If ordering a button hole OR a thumbscrew hole from the "services" section, do the hole have to be located on a smooth surface or can button holes be located on say, a groved section. Thanks in advance, Ive been trying to fig this out for a while

Either, really, but smooth surface is safer. More metal around the screw is always more secure.

Would something like this be okay for a switch? http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/4-Double-Female-Grooved-without-holes-P590.aspx

What kind of switch are you thinking of using?

Depending on the parts I purchase, I either wanna use this (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/SPST-Momentary-tactile-switch-P641.aspx) or this (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16mm-Anti-Vandal-Momentary-Gold-Plated-Switch-P470.aspx). The sound board I am planning on using is the Nano Biscotte, but I MIGHT use a spark/Prizm depending on my budget (admittedly waiting till xmas to see how much $ I can get :P)

Then you will use this:

http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Machine-recessed-16mm-AV-switch-hole-P552.aspx

Or this:

If it's in a ribbed section, I would specify that you want it centered between the ribs. This will look best, IMO. The tactile should be secure enough, and will stay out of your way when doing spins.

Don't forget to get a second switch if you upgrade to a prizm. You won't want to miss out on aux effects.
