I'm designing my first blade. I've been spending most of my time thinking about wiring, but I'll occasionally ponder the looks of it too. I haven't really decided on anything in regards to the main hilt yet. I'll probably wait to see how short a one I can get away with first. I am wondering about your experiences with the 3/4" D-ring location. Where's the best place for that?

I'm planning on a speaker in the pommel area, if that matters. Also, what's the best screw to attach it, and will TCSS drill it for me?

Just use this.

It goes inside the pommel, and the holes are already there, so you won't need to drill anything to your hilt. I put it in my wife's saber and it works great. It was very easy to install. You will however, need an MPS clip for your insert.
