Box 1 Question

I'm looking to possibly getting one of these boxes from the store.

Here's my question. Does anyone know how wide and how deep the hollow space inside the box is? The reason I'm asking is because I would want to drill a hole in the side of the box to mount a 2.1 mm recharge port and I want to make sure there is enough room inside. Thanks everyone!

I tried that set up with the older version of this box. The RC port was too big to fit in the middle of the box. The new box 1 style looks a little tighter than its older brother. I was able to do a switch mount inside that box using this switchhttp://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Red-momentary-switch-P559.aspx but even then it left little room for anything else ;) roughly the box is 2"x.25"(inside) almost .25" tall (on the inside)
I had considered this set up again, but could not find a 3 pin RC port small enough to fit. Of course that said, its been awhile since I've gone looking. I hope this helped.
