Hi Everyone,

This is a polarity question which I wouldn't ask if I was more of a gambler with components, but I'd rather not leave something like this up to a 'test'.

I have two Li-ion batteries; one is a 3.7 pack, and the other is a 3.7 AA style. They are within 500ma range of each other, so I would like to multi-task my charger. The smart charger is for the AA style Li-ions, it has the seating for the battery to pop in, and has no leads for things like a 2.1mm power jack.

What I would like to do is run leads out of this charger to a 2.1 mm male connector.

The question is, coming from a li-ion charger, does the positive lead run to the positive lead of the li-ion battery pack's PCB connector, or is the polarity the other way around? In other words, does a charger want to go positive -> positive onto the battery pack?

For the charger, it's positive to positive.
